Terms & Conditions

Accommodation Type / No Tenancy

• The cabin is provided as temporary accommodation only.
• Minimum stay: one month.
• This stay does not create a landlord-tenant relationship.
• No tenancy or residential rights are granted under the Residential Tenancy Act of British Columbia.

Booking & Payment

• Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• All prices are in CAD and may include applicable taxes and fees.
• The primary guest must be at least 21 years old and is responsible for all occupants.

Check-In & Check-Out

• Check-in: From 4:00 PM.
• Check-out: By 11:00 AM.
• Late check-out must be approved in advance and may incur a fee.

Cancellation Policy

• Free cancellation up to 30 days before check-in.
• Cancellations within 14 days before arrival: 50% of the total cost will be charged.
• No-shows or early check-outs are non-refundable.
• Refunds due to force majeure events may be issued at the owner’s discretion.

Guest Responsibilities & Damage

• Guests must treat the property with care and respect.
• Any damage or malfunction must be reported immediately.
• Significant damage, theft, misuse, or excessive cleaning may result in additional charges.

Waste & Recycling

• Garbage, recycling, and compost must be separated using the provided bins.
• Food or garbage must not be left outdoors due to wildlife.
• Improper disposal or excess waste may result in a cleaning fee.

House Rules & Conduct

• No smoking inside the cabin.
• No parties, loud gatherings, or unregistered guests.
• Quiet hours: 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM.
• Maximum occupancy and pet policy are defined in the House Rules.

Fire Restrictions & Open Flames

• All local, regional, and provincial fire restrictions must be followed.
• Open fires, fire pits, campfires, and outdoor burning are prohibited during fire bans.
• Failure to comply may result in immediate termination of the stay without refund.

Safety, Nature & Remote Conditions

• The property is located in a rural and remote area.
• Weather, wildlife, uneven terrain, and service interruptions may occur.
• No refunds are issued for weather-related or service interruptions.

Right to Refuse or Terminate Stay

• The owner may refuse a booking or terminate a stay immediately.
• Termination may occur due to rule violations, unsafe behavior, illegal activity, or property misuse.
• Termination may occur without refund.

End of Stay / Unauthorized Occupancy

• The cabin must be leave clean and tidy. Taking out the trash, removing any food from the premises and placing all laundry in a pile in the kitchen.
• The cabin must be vacated immediately at the end of the agreed stay period.
• Failure to vacate constitutes unauthorized occupancy.
• Unauthorized occupancy may result in legal action.

Agreement

• By booking and signing the accommodation agreement, the guest confirms acceptance of these Terms & Conditions and the House Rules.
